From Paris with insight: Highlights from UNLEASH World 2025

For three days in October, Paris was the city of HR innovation, as the location for Unleash World 2025. Set against the backdrop of the Palais des Congrès, the event brought together the brightest minds in people strategy, technology and the future of work. And let’s just say, it did not disappoint.

From AI-driven talent tools to conversations about culture, leadership, and wellbeing, the buzz on the floor was amazing. We sat in on sessions that tackled everything from reimagining employee experience to using data ethically – and even squeezed in a demo (or three) of the latest HR tech startups hoping to change the game. Spoiler alert: AI isn't coming for your job just yet, but it's making going to have a big impact on the world of HR.

Between the inspiring talks and caffeine-fueled networking, we connected with some brilliant people who are pushing the boundaries of what “work” really means in 2025. There was a clear theme this year: tech is only as powerful as the humans behind it. The conversations weren’t about replacing people – they were about empowering them. Doing the process-heavy work and allowing people to focus on higher value activities.
